Chufed is a small independent shop on the East Lothian coast, just outside Edinburgh.
Most women who find us have the same story. They have a drawer full of shapewear that rolls down, digs in, or gets pulled off the minute they get home. They have bought bras online in three sizes to find one that works. And they have discovered that most listings say very little about how a piece actually fits a real body.
So that is the part we try to get right. Every product has its own size chart, we say plainly what each piece is designed to smooth, and if it is not right, the exchange is free.
What we care about
Comfort before anything else. Shapewear you cannot breathe in is shapewear you will not wear. We choose seamless, breathable fabrics and wire-free bras that support without pressure points.
Honest sizing. Our size guides are based on waist and hip measurements, not guesswork. If you are between sizes, tell us your measurements and we will give you a straight answer.
A person answers. Email us and one of us reads it and replies, within 24 to 48 hours on working days. No ticket queue, no script.
Shapewear lasts if you look after it
Most shapewear loses its hold the same two ways: a hot wash and a tumble dryer. Neither is reversible. We would rather tell you that here than sell you a replacement in a few months. Wash cool in a mesh bag, skip the fabric softener, and let it dry flat. That is genuinely all it takes.
