This page explains how you can pay for your order and what happens to your money at checkout.
Accepted payment methods
We accept the following at checkout:
- Visa — credit and debit cards issued in the US and internationally
- Mastercard — credit and debit cards issued in the US and internationally
- American Express
The payment icons shown in our footer match this list exactly. If a method is not listed here, we do not offer it.
Currency
All prices on this website are shown and charged in US dollars (USD). If your card is issued outside the United States, your bank may apply its own conversion rate and a foreign transaction fee. That charge comes from your bank, not from us.
Sales tax
Where we are required to collect sales tax, it is calculated from your delivery address and shown as a separate line at checkout before you confirm the order. You will never be charged tax you did not see on the payment screen.
No hidden costs
The price shown on the product page is the price of the chair. Delivery within the United States is free, there is no handling fee, no oversize or bulky-item surcharge, and no charge for paying by card. Apart from sales tax where it applies, nothing is added at the final step of checkout.
When you are charged
Payment is taken at the point you place the order. You will receive an order confirmation email immediately, followed by a shipping email with tracking once your package leaves us.
Security
Our checkout runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection and payments are handled by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
If a payment fails
If your payment is declined, the most common causes are a billing address that does not match the one your card is registered to, insufficient funds, or your bank blocking an unfamiliar merchant. Check those first, then try again or use a different method. If it still will not go through, email us and we will help.
Refunds
Refunds are always returned to the original payment method used at checkout. We cannot refund to a different card or account. See our Return & Refund Policy for timings.
